Queen Cutlery History – Articles

Queen Cutlery History is pleased to share numerous articles of interest to knife collectors. Whether you collect cutlery from Queen City, Queen Cutlery, Schatt & Morgan or even knives from any other manufacturer of quality knives, chances are you’ll find a story to enjoy. Written by collectors, for collectors, there is a lot of good information in this section of the website.

Most of these articles look at knives and knife materials from a historical perspective. Expect to find little known facts about such topics as Winterbottom Bone, early cutlery grindstones, Queen’s “forgotten” tang stamp, the Stanhope Lens (a mini-microscope), World War II knives and a wide range of other topics.

Come back often as new material will be added regularly. If you have an idea for an article or an article you would like to contribute, please contact us.
